What can Design Clinic help me with?

Small queries that can be answered by sharing previous work/examples or referencing relevant guidance currently within guidelines.

How does it work?

Queries will be submitted vial email address knorrdesignclinic@jkrglobal.com and collated on a weekly basis. All queries submitted before 11am (UK time) on Friday will be answered via email by 6pm (UK time) Friday. 

Design Clinic Output:

Design guidance & feedback via email; design sketch if necessary.

Sample Questions:

• We are currently working on a local adaptation for bouillon. 

• Can you please share any work done globally for bouillons?

• We are in the process of developing designs for a new mini-meals innovation. 

• Can you go through these designs our local agency worked on and check whether they are within our global guidelines?

• We followed the global packaging guidelines and placed the green Knorr leaf logo over the green wood background, but it seems that the logo is not standing out.

• Do you have any tips on how we can ensure that the logo stands out?

• Do we have a catalogue of global FOP dish shots that we could borrow for our own local innovations?

• In our market, we use dual-language on our FOP. We have an SKU with a very small label and do not know how we can fit all the necessary elements on FOP. Can you help us?

What can Design Forum help me with?

Bigger briefs that require design development and creative exploration to address the challenge not currently captured within the current BVI guidelines.

How will it work?

Written briefs will be submitted to the following email address: knorrdesignforum@jkrglobal.com using the existing briefing template. From final brief lock, target turnaround for agency revert is within 2 weeks. JKR to share exploration in a 30 minute or 1 hour presentation attended by both local and global team.

Sample Questions:

• We are currently developing a low-salt bouillon range and the current packaging guidelines do not give guidance on how to design this range.  We need help to crack what the right look and feel should be for this innovation.

• We tried applying the new BVI across our whole country portfolio but are struggling to maintain the family feel between certain SKUs.  Can you help us see how we can bring our portfolio’s designs closer together?
